Robert L. Cook – President/ CEO

Bobs career with UMS began at the company’s inception . Starting out as a field Service engineer, his duties and responsibilities expanded as the company grew. Mr. Cook has held the position of service manager for the imaging division and has served on the UMS Board for over a decade. Bob is a avid outdoors man, and veteran and he lives with his family in rural Pennsylvania.

Roderick K Reeder – CFO

Rod joined UMS over 15 years ago to assume accounting responsibilities. A Carnegie Mellon University graduate, Mr. Reeder has financially guided UMS through several key acquisitions which have greatly expanded the service capabilities of the company. Rod and his wife are life long residents of western Pennsylvania and he enjoys mountain biking and hiking.

Christopher McKenna – Imaging Division Manager

Chris’s diverse career began at UMS nearly 20 years ago.  Mr. McKenna has served in a myriad of different positions at Universal Medical including Field Service Engineer, Sales Manager, Installation Coordinator and now, Imaging Service Manager.  Chris formerly served his country as U.S. Marine and now lives with his family near the UMS home office in Beaver Falls.

Jeffrey P. Grimm – Biomedical Division Manager

Jeff came to Universal Medical after starting his Biomedical career as an in-house engineer in a Pittsburgh hospital.  He has attended numerous manufacturer service schools and has guided dozens of client hospital through state and national accreditation inspections.  Mr. Grimm is a sports enthusiast and lives with his family in Western Pennsylvania.

Francis (Ted) Hykes – CT/MRI/PACS/DICOM Division Manager

When Ted joined the UMS team over a decade ago he brought extensive experience in CT/MRI service with him.  Mr. Hykes has attended numerous technical service schools and serves as Universal’s resident expert in Networking Solutions and PACS/DICOM applications.  An avid sportsman, Ted lives with his family in Eastern Ohio.
